Olgiate Comasco psychologists host digital parenting workshops

Psychologists Mara Lazzari and Stefania Megali from the Centro per la Famiglia are conducting free workshops in Olgiate Comasco to assist parents in managing their children's relationship with the digital world. Organized by the municipalities of Villa Guardia and Faloppio, the initiative is part of the ‘Genitori in gioco’ cycle and supported by ATS Insubria, Regione Lombardia, and the Consorzio.

The program is divided into two sessions. The first, scheduled for September 25, focuses on children up to 10 years old, addressing the appropriate timing for introducing smartphones and strategies for responsible use. The second session, on September 28, targets parents of adolescents, focusing on managing social media usage, screen time, and maintaining open communication to prevent technology from creating barriers between parents and children.
