Olgun Amcaoğlu calls for UBP-CTP coalition government

Former Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu has called for a coalition government between the National Unity Party (UBP) and the Republican Turkish Party (CTP). Speaking on Kanal T, Amcaoğlu described both parties as established political entities and argued that a joint government is necessary to focus on long-awaited national projects and address the country's needs.

Amcaoğlu stated that he has personally conveyed this proposal to CTP Chairperson Sıla Usar İncirli. Regarding his own political future, he declined to confirm whether he will run for UBP leadership, noting that his immediate priority is the upcoming December 6 elections.

Addressing his removal from his ministerial post, Amcaoğlu clarified that the decision was not related to his performance or success. He also expressed support for Hasan Taçoy, the current Minister of Economy and Energy, stating he is ready to assist if needed.
