Olimpia coach Eduardo Espinel slams team performance

Olimpia coach Eduardo Espinel expressed intense frustration following a match against Génesis, describing the performance as “vergonzoso” (shameful) from every perspective. Espinel stated that the match was so poor that no tactical conclusions could be drawn, noting that the team’s only viable strategy was to play directly toward the opponent's goal.

Espinel limited his media availability to avoid potential disciplinary action or suspension. He apologized to journalists for his demeanor but refused to answer questions, citing his anger and the risk of being penalized for excessive comments. He characterized the spectacle as “bochornoso” (embarrassing) without specifying the exact causes of his dissatisfaction.
