Olimpia draws 1-1 against Nacional in Torneo Clausura

Olimpia drew 1-1 against Nacional in the 13th round of the Torneo Clausura. Despite the result, Olimpia remains at the top of the table, sharing the lead with Libertad due to a superior goal difference.

Nacional took the lead following a turnover in midfield, where Gaona Lugo scored after a run by Bailone. Olimpia responded in the 75th minute through a header by Hugo Sandoval, who connected with a corner kick delivered by Richard Sánchez.

The match follows a period of pressure for Olimpia, who were seeking to regain momentum after a recent elimination from the Copa Paraguay by Sportivo Luqueño. While Olimpia showed more physical stamina in the final twenty minutes, they struggled to break through Nacional's defense with tactical play, relying instead on set pieces.
