Olimpia Milano maintains confidence in coach Pepe Poeta

Despite a difficult start to the EuroLeague season, Olimpia Milano management reportedly maintains confidence in head coach Pepe Poeta. The team currently holds a 1-3 record in the competition following a loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv.

While rumors have circulated regarding potential coaching changes, with former Crvena zvezda coach Janis Sferopulos being mentioned as a primary candidate by some outlets, current reports indicate that Milano leadership does not intend to replace Poeta. The club's decision is supported by Poeta's achievements last season, including winning the Italian championship and the Italian Cup. Poeta has noted that the team's development process is taking longer than expected.
