Olimpija and Maribor fined following Slovenian derby

The Football Association of Slovenia has issued disciplinary fines following the recent derby match between Olimpija Ljubljana and Maribor. Olimpija has been fined 8,200 euros, while Maribor received a fine of 4,900 euros due to unsportsmanlike and inappropriate behavior by fans during the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

In separate league news, Nafta 1903 is preparing for a challenging away match against Olimpija at Stožice Stadium. Nafta goalkeeper Lucas Erjavšek stated that the team has trained intensively throughout the week and is aiming for a victory in Ljubljana to improve their standing in the Prva liga Telemach.
