Olimpija Ljubljana retains coach Trenčovski after cup exit

Olimpija Ljubljana continues to struggle following a shocking cup exit against third-league side Rudar Trbovlje. Despite the loss, club president Adam Delius has confirmed that head coach Jugoslav Trenčovski will not be replaced, stating that the cup failure is not a reason for a coaching change.

Trenčovski has taken full responsibility for the defeat, citing errors in squad rotation and tactical decisions. Following the cup exit, Olimpija drew their recent league match against Radomlje, leaving them with eight points from seven matches and a negative goal difference. The team faces continued pressure to improve their performance to remain in contention for European qualification.
