Olimpija signs former Serie A player Yayah Kallon

NK Olimpija Ljubljana has confirmed the signing of 25-year-old forward Yayah Kallon. The Sierra Leonean international, who also holds Italian citizenship, has signed a contract with the club through June 2029.

Kallon brings significant experience from Italian football, having made 39 appearances in Serie A and 24 appearances in Serie B. His previous clubs include Genoa, Hellas Verona, Bari, Salernitana, and most recently Casertano.

Primarily a right-sided attacker known for his speed and one-on-one abilities, Kallon is expected to provide versatility to Olimpija's offensive line, capable of playing on the wing or as a central striker. Due to his Italian passport, he will not be registered as a foreign player in the Slovenian league.
