Olinda Pina Gil releases poetry collection ‘Fermentação’

Writer Olinda Pina Gil has released ‘Fermentação’, a 126-page book published by On y va that compiles poetry written over the last 15 years. The collection reflects her personal journey as a writer, woman, and mother.

The poems explore intimate themes including femininity, motherhood, the environment, and the human condition. While the author does not view the work as being directly tied to her home region of Alentejo, the landscape of the area influences the poetry through references to nature, environmental concerns, and megalithic monuments.
