Olisa Ndah nears transfer to Libyan club

Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah is in advanced negotiations to join an unnamed club in the Libyan top flight. His representative, Mike Makaab, confirmed that discussions are progressing and expressed hope that a deal will be concluded by the end of the week.

Ndah, a 28-year-old centre-back for the Super Eagles, had been heavily linked with a move to South African side Mamelodi Sundowns. However, the transfer reportedly stalled due to the club’s foreign-player quota restrictions.

After a period marked by injury struggles and stints with Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch, this move would mark Ndah’s first experience playing outside of Nigeria or South Africa. While the specific Libyan club remains undisclosed, speculation suggests the destination could be one of the country’s major teams, such as Al Ahli Tripoli or Al Ittihad Tripoli.
