Oliveira de Azeméis allocates 55,000 euros for Municipal Director Plan revision

The Oliveira de Azeméis City Council has awarded a contract worth 55,000 euros, plus VAT, to the Aveiro-based company Lugar do Plano – Gestão do Território e Cultura, Lda. to complete the revision of the Municipal Director Plan (PDM).

The contract, finalized via prior consultation, involves five distinct phases including the updating of diagnostic studies, thematic and sectoral studies, and the preparation of an environmental report. The project aims to move the PDM through public discussion and technical reviews, with the municipality targeting the first half of 2027 for completion. However, the municipal president, Joaquim Jorge, noted that the revision of the National Ecological Reserve (REN) could impact this timeline.
