Oliveira do Hospital hosts community festivals and charity events

Several community events are taking place in the Oliveira do Hospital municipality. In Seixo da Beira, the ‘Festa do Pão, Bolos e Bôlas’ is being held from August 28 to 30 at Parque Nossa Senhora da Estrela. The three-day festival features live music, traditional gastronomy, and cultural activities, including street theater and a concertina meeting.

In Alvoco das Várzeas, the fifth edition of the ‘Arraial Social’ is being hosted at the local river beach. The event aims to raise funds for the urgent requalification of a social building belonging to CERCAV. The festival includes live music, DJs, crafts, and local food, while also incorporating environmental awareness initiatives through decorated waste collection containers.
