Oliver Bearman cites consistency issues with Haas VF-26

Formula 1 driver Oliver Bearman has expressed frustration regarding the inconsistent performance of the Haas VF-26. Ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the British driver noted that the car's characteristics change so significantly from one weekend to the next that it feels as though he must “relearn” the vehicle every time he enters the cockpit.

Bearman explained that while he previously could rely on a consistent car to reach near-maximum limits during practice sessions, the current season has seen a steady loss of competitiveness. This instability has hindered both Bearman and teammate Esteban Ocon, causing the Silverstone-based team to lose ground in the midfield battle against competitors like Racing Bulls and Alpine. Bearman remains mindful of the car's potential weaknesses on the long straights of the Baku street circuit.
