Oliver Glasner named new manager of Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest confirmed the appointment of Austrian coach Oliver Glasner as its new head coach, succeeding Vitor Pereira. Owner Evangelos Marinakis said, "In every conversation with Oliver it was clear we share the same vision, the same ambition and the same strong determination to achieve success."
Glasner arrives after a decorated spell in England, having guided Crystal Palace to the 2024/25 FA Cup, the FA Community Shield and the Europa Conference League, and previously winning the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt. He pledged, "Trust and shared commitment, plus the huge potential I see in the squad, are the key reasons for my decision," and will begin pre‑season preparations with the aim of restoring Forest as a competitive Premier League side.
