Oliver Pocher Considers Downsizing Luxury Cologne Villa

German comedian Oliver Pocher, 48, owns a sprawling villa in Cologne valued at around €8 million. The property features a private pool, tennis court, cinema, elevator and extensive grounds.

During an episode of his podcast “Patchwork Boys” with co‑host Pietro Lombardi, Pocher expressed growing frustration with constant maintenance problems – faulty sockets, broken tiles, a malfunctioning freezer, lawn‑mower and pool issues. He said the recurring repairs make him contemplate moving to a much smaller home, estimating that 80 square metres would be sufficient. He compared the idea to singer Udo Lindenberg’s long‑term hotel residence and joked about leaving the villa for hotel room service.

Pocher, who lives with his five children and visiting grandchildren, hinted that his future plans hinge on the children moving out, after which he intends to “massively downsize.”
