Oliver Spasovski accuses Petar Gajdov of document falsification
Oliver Spasovski, coordinator of the SDSM parliamentary group, has accused Petar Gajdov, director of the Agency for the Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information, of falsifying official documentation. The allegations involve a misdemeanor procedure related to government spokesperson Marija Mitevа.
Spasovski pointed to chronological inconsistencies in the Agency's Misdemeanor Commission records. He claimed that minutes from a meeting held on July 21, 2025, indicated a decision to halt the proceedings against Mitevа, yet the Commission officially initiated the procedure to determine if it should be halted on July 24. Furthermore, Spasovski alleged that while the minutes listed three members as present, two of those members provided written statements claiming they were not in attendance.
Additionally, Spasovski raised questions regarding Gajdov’s ethnic identity declarations. He alleged that while Gajdov was registered as an ethnic Albanian for a specific position in 2020, he submitted a notarized statement identifying as a Macedonian during his candidacy for the directorship.
