Oliveros expands vocational training with new carpentry equipment

The CECLA N.º 136 in Oliveros has expanded its vocational training capabilities by adding new equipment for its carpentry and furniture-making course. This initiative was supported by the local Comuna of Oliveros, which provided necessary machinery, and the Maciel cooperative, which supplied basic materials.

This carpentry program is one of three new courses introduced by the Ministry of Education for the second semester, alongside masonry in Maciel and painting in Puerto General San Martín. These mobile training programs rotate locations according to a set schedule. Additionally, students in other disciplines, such as electricity and domestic gas fitting, are engaging in professional practices within local institutions and community clubs.
