Olivia Harrison announces tour for George Harrison photo book

Olivia Harrison, widow of Beatles legend George Harrison, has announced a book tour to support the release of ‘The Third Eye: Early Photographs’. Scheduled for release on October 6, the book is the first collection of George Harrison’s personal photographs taken between 1963 and 1970.

The publication features over 200 color and black-and-white images curated by Olivia Harrison, sourced from George’s personal collection and 8mm film stills. The book will also include essays by Olivia Harrison, Colm Tóibín, and George Saunders, alongside commentary and previously unseen quotes from George Harrison.

The tour includes two initial stops in the United States: a conversation between Olivia Harrison and director Martin Scorsese in New York on October 6, and a discussion with director Cameron Crowe in Los Angeles on October 11. Future tour dates in the United Kingdom are expected to be announced at a later date.
