Olivia hosts ‘Gold & Purple’ themed dinner in Freiburg

During the fourth day of ‘Das perfekte Dinner’ in Freiburg, host Olivia presented a menu themed ‘Gold & Purple - with lightness’. Olivia, a 40-year-old winery operator from Ettenheim, prepared a multi-course meal including lamb with carrot and date, skrei with purple potatoes, and a dessert featuring blood orange and saffron.

Despite her preparation, including laminated lists to manage the kitchen, the evening faced challenges. A mishap occurred when her 10-year-old son, Matti, failed to monitor boiling potatoes, causing them to burn and requiring a restart of the cooking process.
