Olivia Peraldi, the partner of Nice Mayor Éric Ciotti, was injured in a car accident in Nice on Tuesday, September 2. The collision occurred near the Promenade des Anglais and the airport area.

Reports indicate the accident may have been caused by Peraldi running a red light or losing control of her vehicle following a sudden malaise. Emergency services, including ten firefighters and five vehicles, responded to the scene. Peraldi was transported to the Pasteur 2 hospital for treatment.

Initial reports suggest her injuries are light and that she was not under the influence of any substances at the time of the incident. No other injuries were reported in the collision.
