Olivia Rodrigo achieves record-breaking Billboard 200 sales in 2026

American singer‑songwriter Olivia Rodrigo topped the Billboard 200 chart for the third time with her album “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love”. The release moved 485,000 album‑equivalent units in its first week in the United States, marking the strongest sales week of 2026 for any solo artist. The achievement follows her previous No. 1 albums GUTS (2023) and SOUR (2021). Two singles from the new record, “drop dead” and “the cure”, entered the top five of the Hot 100.

Rodrigo’s success also displaced Canadian rapper Drake to the No. 2 spot with 105,000 units from his album ICEMAN. She announced “The Unraveled Tour”, set to begin on 25 September in Hartford, Connecticut, and run through at least 10 May 2027, concluding in London.
