Olivia Rodrigo and Robert Smith debut duet at Spain's Primavera Sound festival
Olivia Rodrigo surprised the audience at Spain’s Primavera Sound festival by performing a live duet with Robert Smith, the vocalist of The Cure. Together they debuted the new song “What’s Wrong With Me,” a pop‑ballad that addresses a troubled romance. The duet is part of Rodrigo’s upcoming third studio album, scheduled for release on 12 June.
The collaboration had been hinted earlier when Smith confirmed his involvement in March, and the two artists first connected during Glastonbury 2025. The Cure also headlined the festival’s Friday night, playing their first show in 18 months following the death of keyboardist Perry Bamonte. Rodrigo announced her participation only hours before taking the stage via Instagram Stories, noting the personal significance of the track as her first recorded vocal contribution.
