Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan announce ‘expectations’ remix

Pop artists Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan have announced a collaboration on a remix of Rodrigo’s song ‘expectations’. The track, which originally appeared on Rodrigo’s third studio album, ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’, is scheduled for release on Thursday, October 15, via Interscope Records.

This marks the first official studio collaboration between the two artists, despite a long-standing friendship and previous professional connections. They have both worked with producer Dan Nigro, and Roan has previously provided backing vocals on several of Rodrigo’s tracks and performed as an opening act on her tours.

The release will be accompanied by a new music video directed by Bardia Zeinali. Physical formats, including CDs, cassettes, and limited-edition 7-inch vinyls, are also being made available for preorder.
