Olivia Rodrigo donates concert proceeds to Planned Parenthood and promotes voter registration

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo announced that money from her concert ticket sales will be given to Planned Parenthood, reversing the effect of the Trump administration's temporary defunding of the organization. The donation comes as the nonprofit regains access to federal Medicaid funding for non‑abortion services.

Rodrigo is also backing a voter‑registration sweepstakes tied to her all‑women Daisy Chain Fields festival in Irvine, California, on Aug. 29. The promotion, run with nonprofit HeadCount, encourages fans to check or register to vote, with all net proceeds supporting charities for women and girls. The festival features artists such as Chappell Roan, Doechii and Stevie Nicks and includes on‑site partners like Planned Parenthood and the Center for Reproductive Rights.

Both initiatives link Rodrigo’s music platform to reproductive‑health advocacy and civic engagement ahead of the U.S. midterm elections.
