Olivia Rodrigo releases third album 'You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love

American singer‑songwriter Olivia Rodrigo issued her third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, on 12 June 2026 via Geffen Records. The record, described by Rodrigo as a “time capsule of a relationship,” explores love’s highs and lows across 13 tracks, including singles such as “The Cure,” “Stupid Song,” “Cigarette Smoke,” “Purple,” and “Drop Dead.”

The launch was promoted with a national‑TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where Rodrigo performed “The Cure” in an all‑white outfit surrounded by red cables. A music video for “Stupid Song,” featuring ballerinas on New York City streets, was released simultaneously, and an additional video for “Purple” followed.

Rodrigo also announced two Los Angeles fan experiences – a park walk‑through and an immersive “The Cure” gallery – available to American Express members, and partnered with Target for an exclusive merchandise line that includes three limited‑edition vinyl colours, a special CD, apparel, and a 7‑inch single featuring “Honeybee” and “Cigarette Smoke.”
