Olivia Rodrigo launches Unraveled Tour with dramatic costume reveal

Olivia Rodrigo has launched her Unraveled Tour, beginning with a sold-out performance at the PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Connecticut. The tour supports her third studio album, ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’.

The production features a highly theatrical set design divided into four seasonal acts: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. A major highlight of the opening night was a dramatic costume reveal during the song ‘The Cure’. As artificial rain fell on stage, a white sleeveless dress designed by Hussein Chalayan dissolved, revealing a red corset bodysuit and micro miniskirt underneath. This water-reactive effect was a literal interpretation of the tour title and the song’s lyrics.

In addition to the visual spectacle, Rodrigo included personal moments in the set, such as a birthday tribute to her mother, Jenni. The tour is scheduled to include 86 dates across North America and Europe, running through May 2027.
