Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields festival raises $20M for charity

Olivia Rodrigo’s inaugural Daisy Chain Fields music festival, held at Great Park in Irvine, California, raised approximately $20 million for nonprofits supporting women and girls. The event featured an all-female lineup including Chappell Roan, Doechii, Stevie Nicks, and Alanis Morissette. Philanthropist Melinda French Gates contributed $10 million to the cause, doubling the amount raised by the community.

While the festival was a philanthropic success, attendees reported significant logistical issues. Thousands of fans faced long waits for rideshares, packed parking lots, and poor cell service following the event. Despite these complaints, city officials are in discussions with producers to potentially bring the festival back in future years.

In addition to the festival, Rodrigo has expanded her industry presence through a new Grammy Museum exhibit titled ‘Olivia Rodrigo: the cure unraveled,’ which showcases the artistry behind her music video. Fans are also seeing new opportunities for her upcoming ‘The Unraveled Tour’ through a $25 ‘Silver Star’ ticket program via Ticketmaster.
