Olivia Rodrigo joins Fortnite with new skins and music for album launch

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo, a three‑time Grammy winner, released her third studio album *You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love* to a #1 debut on the Billboard 200. To coincide with the album launch, Epic Games added Rodrigo to Fortnite as a non‑playable character in Battle Royale. The collaboration, announced on 25 June 2026, includes two exclusive outfits – the “SOUR” look inspired by her debut album and the “Lover Girl” look drawn from the new release – each with reactive styles and LEGO Minifig variants. Additional cosmetics feature a “Butterfly Wings” back‑bling, a “Flammable Sticker Collection” back‑bling, and the emotes “Good 4 U” and “Maggots for Brains”. Three of Rodrigo’s tracks – “Drop Dead”, “Maggots for Brains” and “Deja Vu” – are added as Jam Tracks for the Fortnite Festival mode, with karaoke support on iOS and Android. Players who locate the NPC on the island can unlock a free Heart Locket spray and loading screen. All items are available in the Item Shop until 25 July, and the partnership follows a series of similar celebrity collaborations within the game.
