Olivia Rodrigo releases third album “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love”

American singer‑songwriter Olivia Rodrigo has released her third studio album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. The record opens with the single “drop dead,” which made her the first artist to debut the lead single from each of her first three albums at No. 1 on Billboard. The follow‑up “the cure” also topped several Billboard charts, including Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Alternative Digital Song Sales.

The album features a collaboration with Robert Smith of The Cure on the track “what’s wrong with me,” performed live for the first time at Primavera Sound. Rodrigo, a multi‑Grammy winner with more than 36 million albums sold worldwide, announced that the supporting The Unraveled Tour will begin in September. More than one million tickets have already been sold, prompting added shows across North America and Europe, including a 10‑date residency at Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome, 11 consecutive nights at London’s O2 Arena, and dates in Canada, the United States and other major markets.
