Olivia Rodrigo hosts Daisy Chain Fields festival for women's charities

Olivia Rodrigo is hosting the inaugural Daisy Chain Fields music festival at Great Park in Irvine, California. The event features an all-female lineup including Chappell Roan, Mitski, Stevie Nicks, and Garbage. The festival aims to support women and girls, with $10 million in donations and all net proceeds directed toward ten nonprofit organizations such as Planned Parenthood, the Black Mamas Matter Alliance, and the Center for Reproductive Rights.

Due to a last-minute injury, the girl group KATSEYE has withdrawn from the lineup after member Megan Skiendiel sprained her ankle during tour rehearsals. Devon Again has been announced as their replacement. The festival's schedule has been adjusted to accommodate this change, with Santigold moving into the slot previously held by KATSEYE.

Local residents have expressed concerns regarding potential traffic and parking issues due to the expected attendance of approximately 40,000 people. Additionally, weather forecasts for the area indicate high temperatures, prompting organizers to provide hydration stations, cooling areas, and medical tents to ensure attendee safety.
