Olivia Rodrigo travels to Iceland after chart‑topping album release

Singer‑songwriter Olivia Rodrigo flew first class from Portland to Keflavík, Iceland, arriving early on July 20, 2026. She returned to New York’s JFK Airport the same day, wearing twin braids, a black face mask and a tee printed with “J’aime Le Valais.”

The trip followed the June 12 release of her third album, “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love,” which entered charts worldwide. Rodrigo is preparing for the Unraveled tour, slated to begin in September and run through May, using the Iceland getaway as a brief rest before rehearsals. In early July she also launched a LEGO Editions collectible collaboration with the LEGO Group.

The journey was part of a series of promotional activities surrounding the album’s success and the upcoming fall tour.
