Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival raises $20 million
The Daisy Chain Fields music festival, a women-focused nonprofit event created by Olivia Rodrigo, took place on August 29, 2026, in Irvine, California. Attended by approximately 45,000 people, the festival featured an all-women lineup including artists such as Chappell Roan, Mitski, Doechii, and The Breeders, with special appearances by Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan, and Alanis Morissette.
The event raised $10 million for ten nonprofits supporting women and girls, a sum that was matched by Melinda French Gates to reach a total of $20 million. Beneficiaries included Planned Parenthood, the National Women’s Law Center, and the Center for Reproductive Rights.
During the festival, Rodrigo debuted her new protest song, ‘Serena Joy,’ live for the first time. A portion of the net proceeds from the song will be directed to the Daisy Chain Fields Fund.
