Olivia Rodrigo released her third studio album, *You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love*, on 12 June 2026. Within 24 hours the record became the most‑streamed album by a female artist on Spotify for a single day in 2026, and it logged the largest first‑day streaming debut on Amazon Music for any album that year.

Rodrigo said much of the material was written while she was staying in London, and she cited the rainy atmosphere of Manchester as an additional source of inspiration. In a recent interview she also revealed that she is about 60 % deaf in her left ear.
