Olivia Wilde's film 'The Invitation' opens in Chile and Mexico cinemas in July

Olivia Wilde directs and co‑stars in the comedy‑drama *The Invitation*, adapted from Cesc Gay’s play and featuring Penélope Cruz, Seth Rogen and Edward Norton. After premiering at the Sundance Film Festival and being acquired by A24, the film will be released in Chile on 2 July exclusively in Cinépolis theatres and in Mexico on 8 July under the Cinépolis Garantía label.

The story follows a couple, Joe and Angela, whose marital crisis erupts during a dinner with their enigmatic neighbours, leading to a night of confessions, awkward silences and escalating tension.
