Ollie Robinson claims 100th Test wicket against Pakistan
England fast bowler Ollie Robinson has reached the milestone of 100 Test wickets during the third Test against Pakistan at Edgbaston in Birmingham. He achieved the feat in his 24th Test match by dismissing Saim Ayub LBW for a duck.
Robinson becomes the 50th England bowler to reach 100 wickets. Notably, with a bowling average of 19.34, he joins an elite group of bowlers in the last 100 years of Test cricket history who have taken at least 100 wickets with an average below 20. The only other bowler to achieve this feat in that timeframe is India’s Jasprit Bumrah, who maintains an average of 19.79.
