OlloBot to launch OlloNi SS1 robot on Kickstarter before IFA Berlin

Hong Kong‑based companion‑robot brand OlloBot announced that it will debut its new family robot, the OlloNi SS1, at the IFA Berlin trade show in September 2026. The company plans to open a Kickstarter campaign for the device in late August, giving early backers a special price and a role in shaping the product community.

The OlloNi SS1 is built around the "Perceive, Understand, Companion" philosophy and uses an EmpathCore emotional core together with an Affinilog recording engine to learn users’ habits and emotional states. It features a removable Memory Heart Module that stores shared moments, an Auto Capture function that records family events with permission, and multimodal interaction through touch, sound and facial expression. Founder Lyn Fang said the robot is intended to be a true companion that “takes the time to truly understand you.” The IFA booth will be themed “Touch. Feel. Bond.” to let visitors experience the robot hands‑on.
