Olmedo brothers to represent Paraguay in World Skate Games

Twin brothers Andre and Juange Olmedo have qualified to compete in the downhill skateboarding category at the World Skate Games. Although they moved to Lekeiti, Spain, in 2018, they will represent Paraguay in the upcoming competition.

The event is scheduled to take place in Asuncion, Paraguay, from October 1 to 18. The brothers were selected by the Paraguayan team leadership after their skills in the high-speed downhill discipline were recognized.

To support their participation and cover competition expenses, the local community in Lekeiti organized a Skate Day at the Larrotegiko skate park. Residents raised funds by selling food, drinks, and apparel to assist the athletes in their international debut.
