Olmué authorities investigate suspected poisoning of 10 dogs

Authorities in Olmué, Chile, are investigating the suspected mass poisoning of ten dogs in the Cai Cai sector. The incident reportedly occurred during the early hours of September 27.

The Valparaíso Regional Prosecutor's Office received the complaint regarding animal cruelty and has ordered the Investigative Police (PDI), specifically the Environmental and Cultural Heritage Crimes Brigade (Bidema), to conduct investigations. Preliminary findings suggest the animals died after coming into contact with a substance that investigators are working to identify. As of now, no suspects have been identified or detained.
