Olomo founds Tribal Tapestry following Yoruba ancestry discovery

Olomo, a US-born entrepreneur, has founded Tribal Tapestry following a personal genealogical journey that connected their family history to the Yoruba people and a royal lineage in Imota, Lagos.

After discovering that many ancestry services identify African heritage but lack resources for post-discovery engagement, Olomo aims to address the gap for the African diaspora. The initiative focuses on helping individuals reconnect with the specific identities, communities, and languages of their ancestors that were lost to the historical record during the era of slavery.
