Olomouc Homeless Day event raises record 97,318 CZK

The twelfth annual Homeless Day event held in Olomouc's Horní náměstí raised a record 97,318 CZK. Organized by Charity Olomouc and the association Dobré místo pro život, the funds will support the ‘Kup oběd’ (Buy a Lunch) project, which provides regular, high-quality meals to the most impoverished residents of charity homes.

The event featured the sale of 710 ceramic bowls produced by visually impaired clients of the social enterprise ERGONES. All bowls were sold within 40 minutes. The proceeds represent an increase of 25,038 CZK compared to the previous year.
