Olomouc implements new traffic signals at major intersection

New traffic signals have been implemented at the intersection of Pražská and Erenburgova streets in Olomouc, following an 11-week construction period. The project, costing 20 million CZK, aims to improve safety by reintroducing pedestrian crossings and providing controlled turning from Erenburgova street onto the main thoroughfare.

While city officials state that the current traffic regime is a trial period and can be adjusted if necessary, some drivers have reported congestion. Ongoing construction in the area, including sidewalk reconstruction, continues to impact traffic flow.
