Olomouc opens new Cultural Education Center

The Moravian Theatre Olomouc and the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc have opened a new Cultural Education Center (KEC) to expand their educational and community activities. The facility includes classrooms, rehearsal spaces, and workshops for producing stage scenery.

A key feature of the center is its integration with secondary education. Starting in September, a new high school program in stage technology will be offered in collaboration with the Secondary School of Graphics and Media Olomouc. This program aims to address the shortage of qualified professionals in technical roles such as sound engineers, lighting technicians, and video operators by providing training within a professional environment.
