Olomouc railway depot seeks investor for new experience center

The Svět železnice (World of Railways) Foundation is seeking a single investor to transform the Olomouc railway depot into a year-round experience and educational center. The project, which is currently in the architectural vision stage, aims to move beyond the traditional museum model by offering 365-day accessibility.

According to Petr Slepička, the foundation's commercial director, the site is intended to host diverse activities. Proposed programs include morning educational sessions for schools, afternoon clubs for children, and evening events such as concerts, corporate meetings, and team-building activities. The foundation prefers a partnership with one primary investor to oversee the project from design through implementation.
