Olomouc Region hosts diverse cultural and culinary events

The Olomouc Region in the Czech Republic features a variety of cultural, culinary, and community events scheduled for the weekend of September 18–20.

In Olomouc and its surroundings, several food and beverage festivals are taking place. An Oktoberfest will be held at the Poděbrady u Olomouce swimming pool, featuring Bavarian specialties and live music. In the city of Olomouc, the Long Story Short courtyard will host a Food Fest with dozens of top culinary businesses, including Michelin-recognized offerings. Additionally, the Oktoberg festival in Řepčín will showcase over thirty types of craft beer alongside live musical performances.

Other regional activities include a firefighter's day in Olomouc featuring demonstrations of modern and historical equipment, an open house at the Haňovice Agricultural Cooperative, and a seasonal bazaar in Velká Bystřice. Musical events include a concert of Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater in Náměšť na Hané and various local festivals such as the Lutín kite festival and the Šternberk country markets.
