Olsberg foundation introduces donation boxes for local causes

The Bürgerstiftung ‘Wir in Olsberg’ has introduced a new initiative allowing residents to lend decorative donation boxes for private and corporate events. Under the motto ‘Donations instead of gifts,’ hosts can invite guests to contribute to local causes rather than providing traditional presents.

All funds collected through these boxes remain 100 percent in Olsberg. The foundation uses the donations to fund local projects, including youth work and supporting regional clubs, to strengthen community cohesion. The boxes can be borrowed free of charge from the Olsberg city service office by appointment.
