Olsztyn children's hospital disputes charity contract terms

The Provincial Specialist Children's Hospital in Olsztyn has received one million PLN from the Cancer Fighters Foundation, a beneficiary of the massive ‘Diss na raka’ fundraising campaign organized by Piotr ‘Łatwoganga’ Garkowski and Bedoesa 2115. The campaign raised approximately 292.7 million PLN to support cancer treatment, equipment purchases, and ward modernizations.

While the initial million PLN has been transferred to the hospital's account for projects such as a densitometry lab and parent zones, a dispute has emerged regarding a second agreement. The hospital's director, Dr. Krystyna Piskorz-Ogórek, stated that certain provisions in the contract for a larger modernization project are ‘unacceptable’ to the facility. The Cancer Fighters Foundation maintains that these terms are necessary to protect donor funds.
