Olsztyn launches ‘Dzikobus’ to promote city and discuss transit

The city of Olsztyn has introduced a uniquely decorated bus, nicknamed ‘Dzikobus’, as part of the ‘It is worth living in Olsztyn’ promotional campaign and to support the launch of the ‘Nasz Olsztyn’ mobile application.

Beyond its promotional role, the vehicle serves standard transit routes, specifically lines 110 and 136, which connect the city to neighboring municipalities such as Dywity and Bartąg. Olsztyn Mayor Robert Szewczyk is using the bus as a mobile platform to engage in discussions with residents regarding public transportation. These meetings aim to address the needs of the approximately 70,000 people living in surrounding areas who commute to Olsztyn daily, focusing on improving connection frequency, bus stop locations, and overall transit accessibility.
