Olsztyn viaduct renovation enters new phase with traffic changes

A new phase of renovation work on the Limanowskiego Street viaduct in Olsztyn is scheduled to begin during the night of August 13–14, 2026. The Zarząd Dróg, Zieleni i Transportu (ZDZiT) announced that construction activities are moving to the eastern part of the structure.

As a result, traffic organization will change. Motorists will be redirected to the previously renovated western section of the viaduct, where they will have one lane available in each direction. Pedestrian movement will also be shifted to the recently completed side of the structure. ZDZiT has advised all road users to exercise caution and pay close attention to new vertical and horizontal signage, noting that lane narrowings may cause delays during peak hours.
