Olta inaugurates General Belgrano Cultural Center and announces new housing

During the 379th anniversary of Olta, Governor Ricardo Quintela and Mayor Juan Urbano inaugurated the General Belgrano Historical Cultural Center. The facility, which was over 15 years in the making, is designed to serve as a hub for arts and education, housing municipal schools for dance, theater, drawing, and music, as well as a museum, exhibition halls, and a theater.

In addition to the inauguration, Governor Quintela announced that a tender for the construction of 32 new homes in the General Belgrano department will be issued before September 30. The project aims to begin construction between December of this year and February 2027, part of a broader provincial policy to increase housing access despite economic challenges.
