Oltu Municipality installs 50 clothing bins for recycling

Oltu Municipality in Erzurum has installed 50 clothing bins at various locations throughout the district center to promote recycling and economic reintegration of unused textiles. The initiative aims to collect items such as clothing, shoes, bags, and home textiles to prevent them from being discarded as waste.

Mayor Adem Çelebi stated that the project is being implemented as part of the Zero Waste Project led by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. The collected items are intended to be either recycled or distributed to those in need. Çelebi urged citizens to use the bins instead of throwing old textiles in the trash to help protect the environment and preserve national resources.
